By now, everyone in the country has heard about a new strain of coronavirus, originally known as novel coronavirus and now called COVID-19.
Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has affected people from many countries around the world. It’s the topic of discussion on social media and the public media.
There is evidence the virus can spread from person to person.
If you have recently returned from overseas, been in contact with someone who has returned from overseas, or been in contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, please refer to information provided by your state based health department or call the Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080 or contact your preferred medical professional. We have included suggested web links for all states as well as the Australian Government Department of Health.
To protect yourself and others from infection we encourage good hand and respiratory hygiene practises when attending Club events, particularly hand washing prior to attending Happy Hour activities.
