St. Ives- Sydney

NSW- Sydney- St.Ives. The showgrounds at St.Ives, north of Sydney, was only $20.00 per night (May, 2011). Great place to walk the dogs inside the main arena complete with doggie 'poop' bags. For the kids there is 3 play grounds. Manager comes around and collects the fees.
When leaving if the roads are busy and you want to head back towards the Pacific Highway, it is better to turn left out the showgrounds, get in the right hand lane and continue east for a kilometer or so to the AusLink industrial estate. This will take you under the west bound lanes of Mona Vale Road. Make a U- turn at the round-a-bout and come back on to the west bound Mona Vale Road.
