Its unique position on Surveyor Point, giving access on one side to a beach that is excellent for swimming and other aquatic activities, and on the other side perfect for fishing, crabbing and birdlife observations. Being an easy 2 hours drive (190kms) from Adelaide makes it a popular weekend getaway.
The park features all types of accommodation from luxury 2-bedroom fully self-contained beachfront cabins to a range of powered tourist sites with individual water connection. Other features include a fully equipped modern camp kitchen complete with gas stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer, urn, microwaves, dishwashing facilities and personal lockable storage space.
