At Thursday happy hour 21 March discuss order of visits in Herberton and Irvinebank, then activities will be posted on white board in front of my caravan

At Friday happy hour 22 March discuss next muster in May and AGM in June

Raffles held at the Friday and Saturday happy hours

Dogs on leads OK but not to be in eating areas (health regulations)

BYO picnic lunches OK

Light meals available at Bakersville Pub building

A number of toilets on site

Over 50 buildings and attractions on site

Suggest comfortable walking shoes as a full day would be needed to see all attractions

Entry $29.00 head, $26.00 concession on presenting pension card, 3 day pass

Free admission to Mining Museum included

Sunday return train ride to the Herberton rail station $5.00

Entry $20.00 single guided tour, $35.00 couple guided tour, $12.00 single self-guided tour, group discount available

Herberton Visitors Centre & Mining Museum - Jacks Road

Entry - Gold coin donation or free pass from the Historical Village on presenting the pass

Several walks in the precinct from ½ hour to several hours, talk to visitor centre staff if interested

If going on a walk wear comfortable walking shoes, hat and take a bottle of water


Short drive from Herberton on gravel road, I am happy to vehicle share up to 4 passengers

Loudon House Mining Museum built 1884, $7.00 head or $5.00 concession on presenting pension card

Numerous heritage listed buildings from late 1800’s to early 1900’s

Lunch at Irvinebank Tavern available Thursday to Sunday between 12 and 2 or take a picnic basket

If opting to have lunch at the tavern I would like to know a few days in advance so I can advise them of numbers to ensure fresh and sufficient food available as is the off season

Nice grassed area across the road from the tavern

For those who are still have work commitments, shorter stays are OK.

I have previously attended all the above attractions and can recommend them all.
