The muster was our annual AGM and Christmas celebration, 7 caravans and 13 people attended, through out the 7 days the weather varied the wind was challenging as were the over friendly flies.
A couple of days the wind subsided enough for us to have a camp fire at happy hour. Friday night was our christmas cook up dinner, a tremendous array of food, cooked via the bush camping way from all members, made for a banquet meal enjoyed by all.
We all over indulged with food, chrismas cheers and laughter till late at night. Saturday afternoon we travelled to Andrew Pearce Winery (Wood Wood) where they had generously prepared their pizza oven, for us to cook our home made pizza's for lunch. Unfortunately we weren't very good at mastering the oven, some were burnt and under cooked, like true bushrangers we ate what we could.
Andrew Pearce had many bargains for us and we all left with several samples of there wine. After a lot of laughs it was time for our annual general meeting, and what better surrounding could you wish for, we welcomed Wayne as president and Kerrie as continuing secretary. Many thanks were applauded to Richard for his dedication of 3 yrs as leader of the bushrangers gang. He kept us inline and out of the hands of the constabulary.
Monday evening was a visit to the Tooleybuc Sportsman Club, 6pm we were generously picked up at our camp by the courtesy 11 seater bus driven by the manager (Paul) a distance of 25klm. The meals were excellent and country style servings, there were plenty of facilities to enjoy and relax within. We all had a great time playing group Keno giving us plenty of fun and laughter. On the return trip back to camp we encounter a big roo, which dodged the bus to live another day. If members of the ACC ever visit Tooleybuc, the club has 20 free non power camping sites, 12 power sites @ $10 per night. There is drinking water, toilets and showers for all campers. Mention ACC as courtesy. A great muster was had by all.
