The Bayside Wanderers are a very friendly small group of like-minded RVers based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, but we also have members who live outside the area.  We consist of 26 RVers with a mix of caravans, motorhomes and utilising cabins when available.  We are mostly retired folk, couples and some singles.  We are also dog friendly and choose venues that are dog friendly. There is no fee to attend.

We have as many as eight musters (gatherings) a year, which are open to all ACC members and any visitors who may be interested in joining us.  We go to various parks and free camps across Victoria. A typical muster is held from the Tuesday to the Friday, but many campers like to take advantage of getting to their site earlier and sometimes staying a  couple of days longer and still get their club discount.  Everyone is encouraged to do their own thing or tag along with others with sightseeing activities then we meet at 4pm for Happy Hour around a campfire where we talk and chatter sharing nibbles and drinks.  Sometimes we will organise a group activity:  breakfasts, local pub, cafes, camp oven bakes, just to name a few.  It is a great time to get together and share experiences and ideas. Suggestions of future venues are always appreciated.

At Christmas time, we go the extra mile and dress up our RVs with Christmas decorations (to the delight of other campers).  In the past, caravan park managers have judged the best decorations and awarded a prize.  We also organise a Christmas meal at a local venue.  This is the time when we also have our AGM and prepare for the following year.
