Spring Ridge Sports Ground on the Liverpool Plains in New South Wales is our Freedom Camp for the month of May.

Located on Darby Road, it is a great place to stay for a night or two when travelling east or west to or from Quirindi.

The campground has grassy, flat sites, with picturesque views to distant mountains.  There are flushing toilets, recently installed hot showers, and a few powered sites.  There is a donation box to assist with upkeep.

Set in a pretty, agricultural environment on the Liverpool Plains, Spring Ridge is surrounded by farming including the production of wheat, sheep, and cattle, sorghum, sunflowers, canola and a variety of other crops.

When staying at Spring Ridge, don’t forget to support the local community.  There is a general store with basic supplies.  The Royal Hotel at Spring Ridge, run by ACC members Tom and Robyn, has recently joined our member benefits programme and offers all ACC members 10% off meals and a complimentary standard drink with each meal.

While visiting the Liverpool Plains, don’t forget to call in at the Liverpool Plains Information Centre at Willow Tree.  Nikki will be more than happy to assist you with your sightseeing in the region which has many interesting attractions.
