Due to rapid growth in membership, the Australian Caravan Club (ACC) is delighted to announce the establishment of a second branch for the Mackay region, ACC Chairman Craig Humphrey said today.

Formation of the ACC Coral Sea Cruisers was given the stamp of approval by the Club’s Board last week and will cater for RVers living in Mackay, Sarina and surrounding districts.

“Our Club is very proud of the rapid increase in our membership in the Mackay region,” said ACC Chairman Craig Humphrey.  “I’d like to congratulate the members of the ACC Coral Sea Cruisers for identifying the need for a second branch in the area.  The establishment of the branch brings the total number of ACC branches to 48.”

Until now, the Mackay region was serviced by only one ACC branch, the ACC Sugar City Pioneers.  “The ACC Sugar City Pioneers was only formed two years ago, and membership and awareness of our Club in the region has been constantly increasing since then due largely to the efforts of its members.”

“The formation of the ACC Coral Sea Cruisers provides RVers in the Mackay and Sarina regions with a choice of which branch to join.”

“RVers around the country are finding that the ACC is offering its members a huge range of advantages including not only great musters and tagalongs with social and sightseeing activities, but also a number of other services such as free Farm Stays, maintenance advice and technical tips, and over 600 businesses offering member benefits.”

“Our members share their RVing experiences with like-minded people at musters, in our website members’ forum and on our Facebook page.  We have an active team who advocate on issues affecting RVers to all levels of government and the RV manufacturing industry.”

“The bigger our Club becomes, the higher the impact that we have when making representations.  I encourage RVers to consider joining our Club to enable the impact that we have to be even greater than it currently is.”

“The ACC is one of the largest RV Clubs in Australia.  Our Australia-wide membership is currently around 4,500 and growing.  We are the Club for all RVers.  We welcome owners of caravans, pop tops, motorhomes, campervans, slide-on campers, camper-trailers, and 5th wheelers without discrimination.”

“Any RVer living in the Mackay region and wishing to make enquiries about joining the ACC Coral Sea Cruisers should contact the branch secretary Chris at This email address is being protected from spambots.
