Manufactured Homes Insurance Agency Pty Ltd (MHIA) has designed a special caravan insurance policy for Australian Caravan Club (ACC) financial club members. This policy offers a wider range of benefits than the standard policy.
For many years MHIA has provided caravan owners with excellent insurance policy benefits at very competitive premiums. MHIA also provides their clients with quality ongoing service making any claims as hassle free as possible.
Current benefits offered by the standard MHIA policy include-
- $20,000,000 Legal Liability Cover—This benefit includes Personal Liability Cover for people that permanently live in their caravan
- Accidental damage, road accident, impact, burglary, theft, malicious damage, fire, storm and hail
- General Average
- Contents Cover
- Portable Personal Valuables Cover
- Mechanical/Electrical Breakdown of listed appliances forming part of your Caravan Contents
- Permanent address not required
- Towing and storage of the Caravan following an accident
- Recovery of the Contents of your Caravan following an accident
- Recovery of the Caravan following repairs
- Recovery of the Caravan following an accident to the towing vehicle
- Recovery of the Caravan following illness of or accident to the driver of the towing vehicle
- Loss of Accommodation Deposits
- Increased costs of holiday accommodation
